I'm not sure how you can claim that its a "win" for her as her claims against him have been proved to be incorrect and it also a "win" for him.

It's an interesting one though. She has been told she was wrong, and his comment wasn't homophobic, but she's allowed to say it was. So she kinda won, but the comment she made was false and therefore, one would have thought, defamatory?

I really don't understand the whole situation, it just seems it is a verdict that is a win, but is actually a loss.

The judge opines that the tweet in question was not homophobic (I disagree but fair enough) but that it was fair comment that Dugdale held the opinion that it was. I consider that a win for free speech and a loss for odious little shit stirrers using other people’s money to fund nonsensical lawsuits. I hope her legal expenses are astronomical and that he has to pay them all.
