FLIMSY Easter Eggs!!

Remember how they used to be hard to break into? Bashing them with a rolling pin or stabbing them with a knife (or was that just me?)

The Cadbury ones used to come in two halves, with the buttons in the middle (and a cute chick pattern on the chocolate!) I remember feeling distinctly sick after eating one half at once.

Just now I’ve easten an entire chocolate egg to myself, easily, but the chocolate was so flipping thin!!

AIBU to feel seriously ripped off and nostalgic for the chick patterns?

Yes got to agree they are just not the same!!! I did the same last night ate the whole egg!!! I did feel mildly sick mind you! Nothing is the sameSad

I prefer the new flimsy as I inevitably eat the whole egg(s) and this way I feel less sick/fat/riddled with heart disease.

YABU only because cadburys is now so full of palm oil it just tastes of wax.

Other than that I agree, definitely worth the extra for a posh egg

Depends on the Easter eggs, the £1 ones are what they are, however sugar and coco many moons ago was non expensive now they are.

You can’t get quality chocolate now within spending ££

I’ve treated myself to a very nice egg this year and will need a hammer to break it.

I need to find me a posh hammer-worthy egg. Easter goals.

Any recommendations?

I miss when the eggs would have a hard uneven bit at the bottom from when the chocolate had obviously dripped when setting. Now both halves are perfectly rounded. (If that even makes sense Confused )
