To ask of your experiences with the contraceptive injection

Not an AIBU, but I've been bleeding for 19 days now and only just realised it's the injection causing it!!
If this happened to you, how long did you bleed for?
Its stinking and I constantly feel dirty and horrible

I've been on it for almost a year and haven't experienced anything like this. If it smells you may have an infection, I'd get to the GP and get it checked out.

Was bleeding for months so never had it again. Then didn't have a period for about 14 months.

I was swabbed before getting the injection, would this not have showed anything?

When did you have the injection? I don't mean and STI, I mean a interior infection, I've had one twice and they're horrible. How do you feel otherwise? I'm no medical professional by the way, just going off my own experience, but either way, bleeding for that long you definitely need to be seen by a doctor I'd have thought.

Bloody interior, I mean uterine.

Bleeding for about a year.
Depression, never suffered from this before in my life.
Took 2 years for me to get my periods back after stopping it.
Put nearly 2 stone on.
Infertility and multiple miscarriages which may be linked to the depovera.
I read that it is banned in America due to the above issues.

The 7th of March is when I had the injection.
I'm okay I think? Lol, extremely tired but my iron levels are extremely low, especially losing so much blood.
No temp or anything but I smell hideous down below. I've just moved house and thought it was just sweat but I can still smell it!! On my 3rd pair of underwear today

Please, please, try and get an appointment ASAP with your doctor, a smell could definitely be a sign of infection and even if it isn't it's better to be safe than sorry, I ended up so poorly because I was all "oh I'll be fine", I absolutely wasn't. Please get seen.
