I'm knackered, I'm aneamic, I'm 32 weeks pregnant and tbh I just can't be arsed ... I don't usually mind the older ones having the odd chippy 13 and 10 but WIBU to give it to the 5,3 and 2 yr old too??

not every thread needs to be an emotional rollercoaster, a serious current affairs issue or something you deem worthy @worraliberty @CupcakeDrama no the young ones haven't!

@RainbowWaffles please elaborate?

I beg the forgiveness of all of you who seem to think all posts need to be serious and kindly suggest you f×#k off and join the batshit woman furious that school gave her kid an easter egg!!

@StormcloakNord ....... he'll no!!!!!!

And me. I think DH is pleased I read this thread!

CostanzaG · 12/04/2019 18:13

It's Friday....it's the law.

IntoValhalla · 12/04/2019 18:18

Do it.
I’m 17 weeks pregnant with DC3, and simply had no motovatjon to cook properly last night. Then I saw the “what’s for dinner” thread and someone said they were having egg, chips and beans, so I went to the chippy, got some chips and had those with a dippy fried egg and lashings of beans Grin Was absolutely banging! Most enjoyable meal I’ve had in ages!

rabbitheadlights · 12/04/2019 18:40

ohhh I've not had egg chips and beans for sooooo long ... with white bread and butter and a cup of builders tea!! yum

every Friday night is chippy night here.

wow bungalow who pissed on YOUR chips?

rabbitheadlights · 12/04/2019 19:49

@Bungalowbeth I could write all sorts of lengthy responses but the gist of it would be the same ... Get to f#$k !!!

I invited opinion on dinner not my life choices!! None of which are any of your business

OP I hope you had them. Your post inspired me to go to the posh chippy in the next village for our tea. Feeling stuffed!

BuzzPeakWankBobbly · 12/04/2019 20:30

rabbitheadlights I've no idea what I missed with Bungalow, but I came on to say have chips if you want them (as indeed you said you were going to), but don't preface it with a caveat that it is because you are "lazy".

If you want chips for tea have chips for tea. It doesn't mean you are lazy or anything else pejorative.

I hope they were delicious!

stucknoue · 12/04/2019 20:33

Fish is good for them (savaloys not so much!) I used to serve with peas (but mushy) as so easy from the freezer.

TroysMammy · 12/04/2019 20:36

Hope you all enjoyed it.

Angie169 · 12/04/2019 20:37

If its not to late please can you get your eldest DC to get me a LARGE portion of chips ( no S&V ) and a cheese and onion pie and a tub of curry Pleesssssee. I feel the need for carbs
I have just finished a 12 hr shift and can not be arsed cooking .

obs YANBU

IceIceCoffee · 12/04/2019 20:45

On mumsnet it’s often mentioned how you should not ask a childless woman why she doesn’t have kids. It’s equally rude to comment on how many children someone has. Leave her be.

rabbitheadlights · 12/04/2019 20:57

@BuzzPeakWankBobbly ... something about my having a ridiculous amount of children polluting the planet .... they certainly were delicious although the mushy peas were hard Sad but the children loved it! .... and the only washing up afterwards was cutlery Grin

@Angie169 I shall send her back!!
