YANBU. I did the same yesterday. Although it was pretty embarrassing when a salesman came to the door at 1pm and I was still in my PJs 😁

MitziK · 12/04/2019 13:57

Think of all the times that you were woken at 5am by the DC.

This is your reward for those times.

OldGrinch · 12/04/2019 14:05

Yes that's a good way of thinking about it. All those 3 am feeds and feeling like a zombie the next day. Now the pair of them are permanently attached to their beds during the holidays it's great Grin

Anyone else got a nice furry thing they are snuggling with?!

I’m in my pjs watching tv and the view of the living room beyond my lap is nowhere near as clean and tidy as yours so i’d Say you’re ok!

OldGrinch · 12/04/2019 14:15

Ha ha all the mess on the table is luckily out of view! Have loads of washing to do, dishwasher to empty, bathroom to clean but just can't be bothered to move

grafittiartist · 12/04/2019 14:30

Me too!

TheChiefBMS · 12/04/2019 14:35

YANBU

I'm having a very similar day. Teenage DS is revising in his room, other DS is working and I'm doing very little. Not ashamed. Defiant.

LikeARedBalloon · 12/04/2019 14:38

I've left work early as DD is at a play date all day. Now sat at home watching married at first sight US version 😁😁

Do my unshaved in months legs count?

SecretWitch · 12/04/2019 14:46

Hahaha88 depends are you purring?

I am currently trying to fend off some kind of Pre-Easter cold, so have given myself permission to stay in bed with cat and iPad.

Hahaha88 · 12/04/2019 14:47

@SecretWitch I mean I could purr......

TheQueef · 12/04/2019 14:49

I'm in bed with the cat.
No photos because she's under the covers on my feet trying to hog the hot water bottle.
She approves enormously of my bed ridden state and has even brought sweaty hedgehog toy for later.

bigchris · 12/04/2019 14:49

Same as the chief

Year 10 ds revising or on you tube, year 7 dd in town with mates

Charley50 · 12/04/2019 14:52

I haven't got a pussy to stroke Grin but I'm lying here under two blankets can't be arsed to even make myself a cup of tea!

To be doing absolutely nothing
Hiddenaspie1973 · 12/04/2019 14:53

Yanbu 😊 on my day off in the week, I do the same when I can. More so if the weather is dire. Even better when the cat's on my lap.

Worlds0kayestmum · 12/04/2019 14:54

My poorly toddler is napping and I'm lounging on the sofa watching greys Anatomy and ignoring the washing up

mollyblack · 12/04/2019 14:55

My son is at holiday club, i came home from work early and i'm under a blanket watching fleabag eating a hot crossed bun. I wish my cat would come and sit on me to complete my happy moment 🤣

YouTheCat · 12/04/2019 14:57

My moggy is ignoring me. I am on holiday and had many good intentions of doing stuff (and I have done some stuff this week just not as much as I was going to). Then I had a revelation! No bugger else in this house spends their holidays cleaning and painting so why the hell should I?

Instead, I have watched all the Star Wars films, in order. Just watching the last 30 minutes of the Last Jedi now. Then I reckon I've got 30 minutes until dd comes in from work.

LakieLady · 12/04/2019 14:58

Anyone else got a nice furry thing they are snuggling with?!

I'm lying on the sofa with my legs up on the arm. In the gap between my legs and the seat there is a lakeland terrier, snuggled up to my bum, snoring.

LakieLady · 12/04/2019 14:58

In case of confusion, it's the dog that's snoring, not my bum.

Greatbigterribleshart · 12/04/2019 15:00

Pretty sure it's illegal to remove a sleeping cat from your lap anyway. You're stuck there for a while I'm afraid, may as well make the best of it!

TheQueef · 12/04/2019 15:02

I'm planning a recce to the kitchen, see what I've got that can be a bed picnic.
