to ask this since I can't find the health forum

I've a sort of sudden onset pain on my left side, towards the back. It's just a niggle when I'm sitting, but when I move it can take my breath. It's not in the chest area, it's between the base of my ribs and the top of my hip bone.

What does it sound like?

Could be anything, just don't google it lol.
Look on NHS direct website? There's a quiz type form i believe

Kidney? Maybe? Just type 'health' into the search bar and you'll find the right forum though.

Either just a muscular thing or if it carries on/gets worse maybe worth going to GP to check kidneys

Did the 111 checklist and it said to contact GP today or tomorrow.
It is bizarrely now transferring to right side and upper right side.
Probably need to snap and fart or something.
