Party Invites

Booked DDs birthday party for the end of August.

She goes to nursery, some of her friends are "funded only" which means they don't go into the nursery during school holidays.

WIBU to hand the invites out at the end of June / beginning of July?

Also when would you send the invites out?

Thanks in advance!

End of June sounds fine
Give them a month to rsvp

Thanks Shox, didn't know whether it would be too early to hand out or not!

I have an august baby and sent out the invited mid-June to give plenty of notice with a follow up text/facebook message to everyone reminding them of the date at the start of the holidays. Only 1 person didn't show (who had RSVP'd yes)

Ah thanks Traveller! It's just all her friends have given them a month before the party, but obviously with the holidays it's going to be different! Glad I won't look an idiot handing them out too early, thanks :)

The kids in my DD's class with August birthdays hand them out before the end of school, so you won't be too early at all!
