To tell UberEats to leave the food on the doorstep?

If I write on the delivery notes, will they? I have my daughter at home as she is off school and I'm at work, she really fancies something delivered and as she had really helped me out these last few days, I said she could. She gets nervous answering the door and I don't really want her opening it anyway. If I wrote for them to leave it on the doorstep, is that unreasonable?

That’s what the extra instructions is for. Go for it.

She better be quick, otherwise a puss/dog/fox might get it first.

You can ask but they might not agree to it. Or, they could claim they did leave it and it got stolen/taken/ruined and you'd lose your money (and has no food).

Did it and was fine, DD got her food!

I was not aware McDonalds now deliver through UberEats until I got a leaflet through the post!
