DMs and various tops, with what ever jacket/coat suits the weather. Two weeks ago I wore a short blue leopard print dress for a date, but apart from that just leggings. I basically wear running gear in the mornings for school drop off, go for a run and then get showered and changed into yoga type leggings or cotton leggings from Hush. I have lost all interest in shopping, I don't think I'm depressed, it is just not like me.
AIBU to just carry on as I am?

Crack on, I only gave up my maternity leggings when I realised ds was three months old, I miss the warm cosiness of being able to tuck them into my bra

Wear whatever you like. Honestly - it's fine.

Me either. More so since my op.

Go for it. Leggings are a godsend, I live in them too!

Stroller15 · 08/04/2019 23:54

I lived in leggings too before, during and after mat leave. It still takes me 0.3 seconds to change into them when I walk in through the door. I had to start putting on proper trousers when I saw myself in a full length mirror, but with decent quality ones, I will always say go for it!

I found a black outfit I like (jersey tunic and yoga pants).

I have 6 sets which I wear on rotation.

Has been a godsend with the very demanding baby, school run and work 3 days a week.

I jazz it up with jewellery and hair accessories.

I wear leggings and long tops too, or jeans and stretchy tops. Or running gear. As I wear a uniform to work, no need to be glamerous for work.

YABU, because charcoal grey leggings are also v useful.

SoupySlide · 09/04/2019 00:15

I started wearing leggings when pregnant and struggle to find a reason to not now. When it was hot last summer I did give them up for a bit, but DD is 4 now and I'm still in black leggings constantly. Not maternity ones nw, thankfully, but sainsbury luxury ones.

The only thing is, if I don't have long top to wear over them I have to wear a long dark vest - can't stand having my fanny area on show in leggings, ugh.

I’m with you. Day 3 of the holiday and I’m in the same navy yoga pants and sweatshirt, hair in a shitty bun, no makeup. The DH gets changed for the dog walk then back into vaguely cleaner clothes. I don’t. I’m covered in dog hair or horse drib and I don’t care.
