Aibu.... to want to stay at home with booze & buffet and ask friends & family to drop in? Open house type thing... say 12 - 10? Would you go? Or is it too vague? I dont want a big party, but i do want to celebrate. Thanks.

I'd come. Sounds great. Chilled and informal. Not having a set time means people are more likely to be able to drop by too.
I'd be more inclined to come to something like this than a formal 'do'.
