To think 24 is mid 20’s

Referred to myself as being mid 20’s and was told by a colleague,I was still early 20’s for another year. AIBU to think I’m mid 20’s?

I'd of said early 20s too!

21-23 early twenties
24-26 mid twenties
27-29 late twenties

Obviously it's mid!

I'd also say 24 was mid twenties. I class myself as mid twenties too!

I think it’s because most services etc for young people are up to 25 so he thinks that means early 20’s.

I don't understand why you care to be honest. I tell people I'm "in my 20s" - and I've been telling them that for the last 9 years.

Well I'm 39 and I'm still VERY clear that it's mid 30s. So I'd say 24 is still a teenager....

Mid! Although I wouldn't find it odd if you said early. But strange that someone would argue it's not mid.
