To think there MUST be the perfect pair of black tights out there?

Anyone? Just had to bin 15 pairs of black tights as they were old, bobbly and terrible cat fluff traps. Any ideas where I can get the 'slipperier' kind of tights cat fluff won't be attracted to that ALSO don't ride down or go bobbly?

I've religiously been buying my tights in Primark for probably 15 years... maybe there is a better way?!

M&S 40 denier Body Sensor tights. Pack of 3. More slippery than fuzzy. Excellent.

Hazeintheclouds · 06/04/2019 20:10

£8 per pack.

CalmDownPacino · 06/04/2019 20:14

I'd agree with PP that Heist are the dogs. They're out of my budget but compared to buying 3 pairs from Next every 6 weeks they actually save money.

Hazeintheclouds · 06/04/2019 20:17

The M&S ones last for aaaaages. No snags, no shrinkage. At all.

Lucked · 06/04/2019 20:19

M&S Autograph the 40 and 60 denier ones.

Serenity45 · 06/04/2019 20:22

They're expensive but I've got a couple of pairs going strong after 15 years...Wolford. I have also tried others from M&S to Primark but they really don't compare and were a false economy for me. I don't have a particularly expensive wardrobe of clothes either! Definitely worth the investment imo (depending how much you want to soend)

Arriettyborrower · 06/04/2019 20:23

Definitely Heist, they are pricey but I’ve had 4 pairs for 18 months and wear them 5 days a week, still as good as new, super comfy and extremely flattering under any clothing

Asda thermal tights all day long

Violetroselily · 06/04/2019 20:25

I really like Boots own brand tight

I bought some once in an emergency and keep going back for more

whocaresalot · 06/04/2019 20:29

Another vote for Snag here- to the PP who wanted to know if they stay up, once you’ve got them on the waistband does not budge! They’ve changed my life. Also great customer service, I got a dodgy batch on my third order and all four pairs were replaced without quibble.

dramaqueen · 06/04/2019 20:31

Those of you wearing Heist, can I ask what the sizing is like? I'm a 14 so would the 12-14 be ok?

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 06/04/2019 20:32

I came on to say either Snag or Spanx. The Snag ones are like wearing leggings, they wash and tumble dry well, and are so comfy. Spanx slightly less comfy, but hold you in and last ages too.

BookClubBlues · 06/04/2019 20:32

M&S body sensor either 40/60 denier. Amazing. primark ones are shit compared to them. I have to buy a size larger than in other shops as they come up quite short. So I’m usually a medium everywhere and buy these in a Large.

VioletCharlotte · 06/04/2019 20:37

Asda tights are pretty good. &5 for 3 pairs of 79 dernier. They last me ages.

VioletCharlotte · 06/04/2019 20:37

79?? 60

Processedpea · 06/04/2019 20:52

Tj maxx have wolford tights atm for 7.99

hoorayhugo · 06/04/2019 20:56

Snag all the way!

Fatted · 06/04/2019 20:57

Honestly, anything other than primark would probably do the job!!

I generally just buy Asda or M&S tights.

melissasummerfield · 06/04/2019 21:00

Snag tights are amazing!

I only had one pair to start off with and was washing and wearing them 3 times a week for months and they were still perfect!

I even accidentally tumbled them a couple of times and they were still fine, i would definitely recommend them

PH03b3 · 06/04/2019 21:19

Simply be are meant to do a good pair of tights

K0612 · 06/04/2019 21:57

Snag tights. I'm chucking all my m & s ones. They stay up don't rip and are super comfy.

Waggily · 06/04/2019 22:28

Not Snag. I followed their size guide and i’ve Never had such Nora Batty tights. Which is a shame because they do loads of lovely colours. I’m a recent convert to Matalan tights,

Katinkka · 06/04/2019 22:37

I love mySnag’s
