to wonder if/when my baby's hair will curl?

Wondering what DS hair is going to be like. He's 5 months and has very little hair... what he does have is dead straight, but very sparse and not even a cm long.

My hair is afro - very very curly. DS dad has dead straight hair...

I would love my DS to have curls but of course don't mind either way. Just wondering, if his hair does curl, when is this likely to happen?

Starting to think I'm going to have to learn how to look after straight hair as only ever dealt with African hair 😅

Hi!
He's probably going to have curly hair but just not yet. My son has curly hair and it only started going curly when he was around 7 months but he had very little hair and thin hair to begin with. Once it was a bit longer it started curling.

My DC's hair started curling when it was maybe 4-5 cm long for baby hair.

DC1 now has extremely thick hair requiring regular haircuts at 2.5 and the curls would be there if it was not so thick, they are there when I wash his hair.

DC2 is only 10 months but his hair is starting to stick out at all angles and curl, he has a lot of hair though.
