Sick leave

I have been off sick with V&D last bout around lunchtime yesterday. Started on Saturday My work policy is 48 Hrs clear before going back but as I feel Ok I kinda feel that I’m taking the piss being off again tomorrow. Make me feel better for being home and feeling ok please

So does that mean everyone is always off for at least 3 days?

If you work with vulnerable people (eg children, the elderly or the sick) then I think you should stick to the policy and take tomorrow off as well.

If however you work with healthy adults then tomorrow should be fine.

Please don't go in. Norovirus has been spreading like wildfire in my workplace. People still keep coming back in before being clear for 48 hours and infecting other people. One lady I work with has a poor immune system and has caught it 3 times now

Thanks for the reassurance. I do work with children and have just found out from a colleague that someone is pregnant so looks like another day at home for me.
Big national workplace topcat so sick lleave is very generous but they work us to the bone 😂
