Awwwww @curiousaboutsamphire I love an ebt!! We are looking for one to be brother/sister to our gorgeous grumpy old man! He’s a Westie Shih Tzu cross (we think). He’s deffo my little furry child, and for all of my husband’s “he’s not a manly dog” you always catch him cuddled up to the little shit whispering sweet nothings in his ear!! He loves him really!!

Whippets. I have three although one isn't a Whippet and is a Pug beast.

The whippet in this one actually is 1/4 greyhound and yes he is smiling for the camera.

Pretty much any giant breed. I'd love a leonberger, hopefully one day we will have the garden for one

@ HarrysOwl If you ask them, they probably pretend they do, as they are very easy to bribe... I hand-reared the 4th one and she is a foster fail, as I kept her. Our family and the other hounds had bonded to strongly with her.

We've got 2 spaniels. Mad on a walk, calm as anything in the house. But they're very intelligent and need lots of mental stimulation and physical exercise.... be that chasing a pheasant smell or looking for hidden toys in the garden. Crack that part and you've got an amazing companion.

They're also velcro dogs, and don't for one second think you can leave them!

It was the Labrador Retriever. Then I got one, and he is an absolute arsehole.

Lucky for him he's incredibly cute, so all is always forgiven.

Mini schnauzers are the dog d'jour in our house although we love anything that woofs.

We'd love a friend for our boy but would definitely get a rescue once the DCs are a little older (as lots of rescue places won't rehome with kids under 10)
