@CuriousaboutSamphire This picture is actually taken by a mate who works in animal rescue. It looks identical to one of mine rescued as a puppy. My own greyhounds are a bit too easy to recognise, as they are therapy pets and go to a well known hospice and other public space to help those with depression and anxiety. Greyhounds are very empathic and make amazing therapy animals.

Tibetan Terrier... For looks and personality.

@feelingsinister I agree!!! I used to have a rescue Bearded Collie and he was a divine boy but he used to escape from the garden all the time 🙄

Tartanwarrior · 02/04/2019 17:48

Greyhounds - so affectionate

Hahahahaha! Ours disliked us. Felt that she was a far superior being ( to be fair, she was probably right!).
She had a massive crush on one of our neighbours, but us? Nope.
As she got a bit senile, she would bless us with a tail way and seem reasonably pleased we were alive ( to feed her).
I miss her so muchSmile

@kateandme

Be aware that collies stay in the puppy stage until at least the age of two. And they can be highly strung. They need oodles of exercise too. More so than other dogs.

And with regards to children. It has taken nearly a year to find a rescue collie who is good with young children. We adopted her last week and she is gorgeous and good with my DD but we still have do to a shedload of training with her.
