What's in your fridge?

Mine currently has -

8pts of Whole Milk
Wedge of mature Cheddar
Wedge of Wensleydale
Half a punnet of pink grapes
A toddler chewed apple half
Cherry toms
Red onions
1 lone strawberry
Big tub of Lurpack
HP Sauce
Mustard
A sandwich tub of cooked Beetroot leftover
Mango Chutney
Half eaten Chicken Korma from yesterday
Sparkling Water
Lemonade
Can of Coke

I feel like it should be filled with much more exciting stuff for simple meals and bunches of chilled herbs and lamb cutlets or something like it would be in the med 😂 (Oh do I dream of that!)

What's in yours?

DontCallMeShitley · 04/04/2019 01:37

Ah yes, 10 packs of beetroot - I buy the Longlife stuff so there is always some in the house, it is very versatile for cooking but mostly gets used in salads and sandwiches with cheddar. Much as I like it, I am not likely to find out what it might do if consumed all at once.

Useful for cake making, soups, in potato cake type things, roasted etc.

LadyRannaldini · 04/04/2019 12:29

Some people seem to have very big fridges!
We have all the usual suspects plus three or four little black tubs of 'leftovers', OH always leaves a bit of whatever on the bowl/pan etc., a teaspoon of curry, a tablespoon of mashed potato, not enough for another meal though. He feels he's moderating his eating by leaving a spoonful, Jilly Cooper used the phrase 'a conspicuous leaver' in, I think Polo, and that's him.

Oh, wow, Shock, that list is a lot longer than I thought. In my defense, they do look empty-ish though Blush Confused

AtleastitsnotMonday · 05/04/2019 17:22

Jeepers Science have you got a fridge or an aisle of fridges like waitrose?! If that’s empty I’d love to see the list when it’s full.

00100001 · 05/04/2019 17:26

I need to see your fridge science Shock

Mabellavender · 05/04/2019 18:00

Left over roasted veg

Entire shelf of jars of things like tartare sauce, mustard, Thai green curry paste etc, jam, pesto of various types, harissa, cornichons and on and on and on
Door shelves:
