House near a social club

I’m currently house hunting after separating from my husband.

Seen a beautiful house today with budget but it’s pretty close to a social club....

We live next door to a big pub. In semi rural but quite chi chi Australia.

We find that Friday nights are a bit of a pain but it's only about an hour...people talk and laugh loudly which annoys the dog.

Otherwise no trouble at all. If the area is a bit rough though...I wouldn;t.

Drive down on a couple of nights this week including Friday around 11. No point in checking licence hours because they can change

I agree with Henny re area and type of establishment.

But I'd also check out where their outside smoking area is - there'll be people in and out there all the time, which could become noisier as the evening wears on.

anniehm has your answer. You won't really know unless you go and have a look late on the weekend. That tells you everything you need to know.

Good advice above, perhaps even join the social club and go for a drink with a friend a couple of times, to see for yourself the members it attracts.

Speak to a neighbour in the street, say you are looking for somewhere in the area and ask them if the club causes them any noise issues.

Google the clubs names to see if any local news posts come up.
