I always use marks and Spencer's.

Bloom & Wild or if your budget is tighter, Scent from the Isles

HaventGotAllDay · 28/03/2019 10:33

Word of warning about Bloom and Wild...I had been using them for about 2 years, (mum in carehome, discount vouchers, lots of cashback) when I saw the sorry state of the bedraggled flowers I sent at Christmas I couldn't believe how the quality has plummeted since I started using and recommending them. I won't use them again.

M&S for me now, but I did like look of Freddie's. I went with M&S because my mum',s favourite is the humble daffodil and they did a massive daffodil and tulip bunch.

I have use bloom and wild too but be prepared for your inbox to be filled with their marketing mail, though they do offer good discounts! I recently used them and the recipient says they only threw the last few blooms left of the bunch away after a month.

Scilly Flowers - loads of flowers, always highly appreciated.

Or google a local florist and just tell them your budget.

WattdeEll · 28/03/2019 10:52

I use Cornish Blooms. I have sometimes sent one of their gift vouchers so that the recipient can choose their own and a time of delivery to suit them. Ideal for my sister in law who works away with her job at times I don’t always know, she never misses her flowers at their best as she can time delivery.

Another recommendation for Isles of Scilly flowers - there are lots of options, just google 'Scilly Flowers' - they smell divine, are very affordable & you get loads of flowers. You'll also be supporting small businesses Flowers

I always use Bloom & Wild, beautiful flowers and their customer service is fantastic.

Ohyesiam · 28/03/2019 11:22

Thanks so much for all your suggestions.
I’m sorted now, and o know my mum will be really happy with her blooms.
Happy mother’s day to everyone.

Also Bloom & Wild. Very often you can find a discount code online for 10 or 15% off.

Freddie's flowers free box offer code : BETHANE66
Available for 3 people to use 😊

Username9641 · 17/07/2019 20:11

Another Bloom and wild vote. Lovely flowers, not your standard dull stuff, excellent customer service, lots of offers. Also the person doesn't need to be in when they're delivered.

I guess depends if you mean "value" or "cheap"!

Whatsacill · 04/10/2019 20:19

@Orangecake123 just used your link... thank you!

Flying flowers are good

FredaFox · 04/10/2019 21:14

Don’t use apple yard, I’ve had two bad experiences and their customer service was awful, I ended up out if pocket and with dead flowers

Love bloom and wild, fantastic flowers

I didn’t rate the quality of Freddie’s when I tried them

Waffles80 · 04/10/2019 21:57

I just google around and find a local florist to the person I’m sending them to. It usually works out a bit cheaper - they usually do local delivery for free. I read a few online reviews and discuss what I want in order to get a better feel for the store’s quality.

It means I’m shopping locally (albeit not to me), and not giving a huge international chain more money.

Serenata!

ErnestJones · 28/10/2019 15:10

Are Bloom & Wild flowers supposed to arrive half dead? Confused

misspiggy19 · 28/10/2019 15:16

I used Bloom and Wild twice. Both times the flowers were awful quality. Would not recommend
