To book interview for last available day?

Got an interview offered. She mentioned in the email that interviews will be carried out this week and next week. I can do next Friday which is basically the last available day but is it too late?

My response to her :
I'm available next Friday, the 5th of April, please choose a time at your convenience.

Should I word this another way? Be apologetic that I can't do any sooner ?

PS this is the actual company who got in touch not a recruiter

Don't be apologetic, there is no need as you have not done anything to apologise for. Women often apologise for nothing and we shouldn't.

I was recently offered an interview the week before Christmas. The date clashed with my dd’s nativity play. I refused to miss this (interview required travel meaning there was no way I could have attended no matter what time it was at).

I re-scheduled for mid January the very last interview slot on the very last day. I got the job. Tbf I think I was likely the preferred candidate from the start as my field is very niche. But no harm done, be confident in your communication with them and don’t apologise.

My attitude was that if I was the right person for the position, I would still be the right person even after I got to enjoy my dd’s nativity play.
