Odd one.

Actually asking for a friend (and my usual username could be linked to me and she wants to remain anonymous).

Is this positive? My friend took this test on February 25th. She's just taken a digital and it says 2-3. Surely it should be 3+ by now? We are most confused!

Is this positive?

It’s flooded so can’t tell.

Inde96 · 27/03/2019 18:42

The line is quite faint but I'd say it's positive. Maybe take another?

Inde96 · 27/03/2019 18:43

I've just seen that your friend has taken another test! Sorry Grin

Pregnant2019 · 27/03/2019 18:45

She has since taken two more and she's definitely pregnant but she only stopped taking her pill in February and hasn't had a period so she has no clue how far along she is.

She's absolutely freaking out.

The pink tests are notorious for false positives supposedly. Tell her to book in with the midwife (if she's planning on continuing), or a family planning clinic (if she isn't) and they'll be able to scan her and tell her how far along she is.

Dont worry too much about the weeks indicator. It is notoriously inaccurate.

Pregnant2019 · 27/03/2019 19:19

Thank you everyone.

She's so happy! She just had so many questions that I couldn't answer as I've no idea about tests really.

She's taken an Asda own brand which came up with a solid line straight away and a digital that said 2-3 weeks.

She's pregnant.

hammeringinmyhead · 27/03/2019 19:25

That is a bit odd. Unless this test was faulty/flooded and it's a coincidence that she then conceived after that, the test should say 3+ a month later.

Pregnant2019 · 27/03/2019 19:44

@hammeringinmyhead

Exactly! It's so bloody weird. She's only just come off the pill and hasn't even had a period yet.
