Chocolate you share?

Unrelated to my other thread before anyone thinks that! This is lighthearted

What chocolate bars would you share with people? I'd share things that are separated by wrappers or a Terry's chocolate orange. A friend offered to share her kitkat with me today and for some reason it just seemed weird!

Chocolate? Share? I don't understand this concept.

PristineCondition · 27/03/2019 17:34

There's fuck all I share willingly to be honest

But yes individual wrapped i could in theory "share"

Treaclesweet · 27/03/2019 17:35

I'd share a KitKat, but not a KitKat chunky. It's the 'perforations'. Like I'd share a dairy milk, but not a flake. I'd share a twirl, but I would be inwardly angry about it. Ideally I'd like to give away less than half of my chocolate.

nancy75 · 27/03/2019 17:35

No such thing

mizu · 27/03/2019 17:41

I used to have my own chocolate stash.

My DDs are now 13 and 14.

Nothing is my own anymore. Grin

TheGirlWhoLived · 27/03/2019 17:48

I’d share anything that comes in a double, a kitkat is a good share, particular 4 fingers (reminds me of that rugby song- a kitkat she wanted, FOUR FINGERS she got.... I digress)
It would be much harder to share a single bar (mars, double decker, lion bar, toffee crisp etc) also packets are fair game (munchies, buttons etc)

Disfordarkchocolate · 27/03/2019 17:52

Share!! Are you mad? Sharing chocolate is for a totally alien concept to me.

WeepingWillowWeepingWino · 27/03/2019 17:53

That doesn’t compute for me, I’m afraid.

PersonalClown · 27/03/2019 17:55

PERSONALCLOWN DOESN'T SHARE FOOD!!

Sorry. It's a reflex now along with a stab of a fork.

Pomo81 · 27/03/2019 17:57

Haha I don't share often either! I don't Know why I think the kitkats odd then. I saw two colleagues at work do it and it seemed strange!

One Rolo - the first one, not the last one - that would be too much of a sacrifice.

Heulog · 27/03/2019 18:26

I can share a galaxy/dairy milk bar providing I've snapped it when it's still inside the unopened wrapper. Once it's open and I've had my hands on it, it's mine. And no one really wants chocolate that has already been handled do they. Same with the chocolate orange, smash it before opening and it's fair game. OP was the kitkat snapped apart while still wrapped?

bathorshower · 27/03/2019 18:31

Cheap chocolate might be shared (anything by Cadbury's for a start). Nice chocolate isn't. That includes boxes of nice chocolates. Except the coffee flavoured ones - DH is permitted those. I am both a chocolate snob and a chocolate control freak, and I own it!

bourbonbiccy · 27/03/2019 18:32

Chocolate.....sharing....I don't think so, not on your nelly.
I would happily sure absolutely any other foods ( oh hold on...no ...I don't share cake either ) 😳😳😳

Pomo81 · 27/03/2019 18:37

Heulog, no it wasn't wrapped when snapped

Sweetpea55 · 27/03/2019 19:38

Does Black Magic still have the butterscotch one? I'd share that, no probs

brizzlemint · 27/03/2019 19:40

Rolos. I'll share rolos with anybody.

iklboo · 27/03/2019 19:42

DS gets the first Munchie
DH gets the last Munchie

The rest are mine. MINE I TELL YOU!!!

PoptartPoptart · 27/03/2019 19:47

I don’t even like sharing the sharing bags Grin

AwdBovril · 27/03/2019 19:48

Computer says no.

RMogs · 27/03/2019 19:50

Given a choice, none. However DH and DS don't give a choice. Other than them, and maybe DM because she shares with me, I don't share.

I don't share any food if I think about it.

megrichardson · 27/03/2019 19:51

I share the mint flavour Lindt chocs because they are horrible

Rubusfruticosus · 27/03/2019 19:54

Individual pieces, wrapped or not, and anything that easily snaps into pieces like block chocolate or a KitKat. If I have access to a knife and plate, any chocolate, even a creme egg out of the freezer. I usually buy very dark chocolate that few people accept when I offer it though.

AngeloMysterioso · 27/03/2019 20:00

Mint flavour Lindor are the best!!

CoffeeRunner · 27/03/2019 20:01

A chocolate orange, a box of chocolates or a (very) large bar of something like Dairy Milk.

Never a KitKat or a Bounty.
