It's a light coloured but purpley and blotchy only on his legs. Had his MMR last week, is it anything or should I take him to hospital? My nearest hospital is half an hour away and a taxi would be £30+ so any advice would be great (obviously there is no amount I wouldn't pay yo get him seen)

Just looks like slightly cold legs to me. Not a reach imo. Is it raised or rough at all?

UpsyDaaaisy · 27/03/2019 17:32

It's not raised at all, just blotchy really, he's mostly ok in himself other than the sniffles

Looks like a typical viral rash to me. Unless he seems ill it will probably pass in a few days, perhaps with a runny nose. If his cheeks are very red it might be slapped cheek which presents like flu but again treatment is symptomatic, calpol etc.

Kenworthington · 27/03/2019 17:35

It doesn’t look like a
Rash at all to me. Disclaimer- I am in no way a medical professional, do have 3 kids. Have pale blotchy legs.

Thank you everyone LIZ he has had a runny nose and a bit off his food so sounds right

Look like perfectly normal, slightly cold legs to me. Bet you can't resist nibbling those thighs though. Yum!

lexi I know I love that he's still in the chubby baby stage! Which is a miracle considering he won't eat anything I give him Hmm

Looks like viral rash to me. Both of mine had this when coming down with something or after vaccinations.
