To fly when DC has a tummy bug.

I know the answer to this, but believe it or not I’m getting mixed results online.

We (DH, DSD16, DS11 and I) are due to fly out to Mallorca tomorrow. DS has bad a stomach and today has vomited and has diarrhea. Can’t pinpoint what caused it as we all eat the same meals and myself and DH are fine.

We will have to reschedule flights won’t we? Sad

Yes, you will.

JellycatElfie · 27/03/2019 14:20

Yes - don’t ruin everyone else’s holiday!

RuggerHug · 27/03/2019 14:24

You will. Get onto the tour operator/airline now.

notsosureaboutthatthough · 27/03/2019 14:25

Obviously . Don’t be a dick.

NorthEndGal · 27/03/2019 14:26

Yup
Sorry

KindnessCrusader · 27/03/2019 14:28

You can't fly.

exitstageright · 27/03/2019 14:28

I'd send most of the group as planned and DS can travel with the remaining adult in a couple of days.

CloserIAm2Fine · 27/03/2019 14:31

Of course you do, can’t believe you’d even consider flying with a stomach bug! People who do that are selfish cocks

Drum2018 · 27/03/2019 14:31

You could all end up getting the bug over the next few days so best to reschedule.

Princessmushroom · 27/03/2019 14:50

Please please don’t fly.

A few years ago I forked out for a cruise for my dad. It had always been my deceased mum’s dream to take him on a cruise. It was 13 nights, super expensive.

I got ill from other passengers. I can’t believe they were so selfish as to board when they had to sign something that said they hadn’t been ill (v strict compared to flying obviously).

Please don’t ruin other people’s holiday.

SummerHouse · 27/03/2019 14:52

It's really rubbish for you. But you can't fly.

Mom2tommy · 27/03/2019 20:18

Thanks all. We have rescheduled
