Seriously, if men want or need a space to talk about a different way of being men given the gendered pressures that are on them too (from “boys don’t cry” onwards) good for them.

I think men and women both need times and spaces to come together without members of the opposite sex. As long as a gathering isn't focused on hate speech or disenfranchising others, it's probably a positive thing.
