Been to the doctor with worsening symptoms of a fibromyalgia flare. I've had to fight to get bloods done as I'm feeling unusually awful this time around. I loathe going as every. single. time. They ask if I'm feeling depressed (aka it's all in your head). No. I'm in pain and exhausted. So instead of being dismissive and patronising why can't they just believe me and believe I know my own body. I'm the one living with this 24/7 and it would be nice for once if they just took me seriously!
