Is it just me, or do others find they can’t be arsed to read long posts? I start off with good intentions, but longer than a paragraph and I’m out of there!

Sorry you lost me after ' cant be arsed to read long posts'
Can you keep to your point please!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

SauvignonBlanche · 23/03/2019 17:46

No

LaBelleSauvage · 23/03/2019 17:47

YANBU it's especially bad if there are no paragraph breaks

x2boys · 23/03/2019 17:49

Yes especially when they have an overly complicated issue ,with lots of confusing acronyms and say something like friend A told friend B something and now friend C it's upset .

Ginlovingmumof4 · 23/03/2019 17:49

notacooldad love it! 🤣🤣🤣

With you all the (very long) way.

Torridon19 · 23/03/2019 17:51

I was exhausted after wading through your post, and have had to lie down in a darkened room....

Lizzie48 · 23/03/2019 17:52

I agree. It's a result of the accusation of 'drip feeding'. OPs try to include all relevant information in their first post.

WorraLiberty · 23/03/2019 17:54

YANBU. That doesn't mean people shouldn't type them though.

I however, have the attention span of a.......Oooh look! A shiny thing!

FriarTuck · 23/03/2019 17:54

It depends - where it's all in neat paragraphs, relevant and well-explained it's fine, but where it rambles & introduces stray people and situations that don't appear remotely involved, and has no punctuation then YANBU at all.

PurpleDaisies · 23/03/2019 17:55

Nope. Too long for me.
Couldn’t get to the end...

AlexaAmbidextra · 23/03/2019 19:35

I don’t bother to read long posts. I see them, my heart sinks and I scroll past.

DroningOn · 23/03/2019 19:38

If it can't all fit on my phone screen I'll generally leave it.

And ones that start "I'll try and keep it short" before running on to lines and lines of back story

JassyRadlett · 23/03/2019 19:40

Posters can’t win. They’re either too wordy or they’re torn apart for drip feeding.

weareallfuckednow · 23/03/2019 19:46

Yanbu
I'm the same.
Keep it quick folks ffs

TheFaerieQueene · 23/03/2019 19:47

I don’t read long ones either. I’m just not that interested!

Climbingahoneytree · 23/03/2019 19:48

I don't read them if there are no paragraph breaks or it's complex e.g. friend one said that friend two is cheating but friend three says it's all harmless etc

ShadowMane · 23/03/2019 20:15

theres a difference between drip feeding and going on for hours, i switch off sometimes

Vulpine · 23/03/2019 20:17

I'm the same. Just be succinct!
