To tell you I just scored 106 wpm on this typing test

I wanted to test my typing speed earlier, so had a quick go at this test:

The average person apparently types at around 38-40 words per minute, but I scored 106 wpm with 99% accuracy. I'm feeling rather chuffed! Disclaimer: for my day job I work in an office and do type a lot of emails, but am not a secretary.

To anyone else wanting to give the test a go - what score did you get?

Can’t do it as on my phone but on a good run I can do about 60 wpm but not with a great deal of accuracy, 106 is amazing.

68wpm, but I had to say the words in my head in order to type them, and I think I could go quicker if it actually made sense.

I'm not sure I could sustain 100-plus words over a longer typing session (say 10 minutes), as I was concentrating very hard to get that score and it is quite tiring mentally!

82 with 98 percent accuracy. And I'm fast - OP over 100 is superhuman

Going back about 45 years ago we had to achieve about 70 to 80 words per minute on old fashioned typewriters.
