Tick bite

In September 2017 we had a family holiday at longleat centre parc. I was bitten on my breast (relevant) by something and at the time thought maybe a horsefly etc as was itchy and very sore. I did develop a ring around it which in recent times when talking to a friend she believes was classic tick bite bullseye. I didn't see the tick and I still have the lump. It's embarrassing as it looks like a visible 3rd nipple if I wear low cut tops. I've googled pics of after bites and it does look like it was a bite and I may have knocked the tick off or it was satisfied enough to drop off or worse and more likely it's head got left behind, hence the lump. I did see a DR some time ago but she had no idea what the lump was. Roll on to now and I am having Lyme disease symptoms. I am visiting the DR again next week to demand a test. AIBU to question the DR as to why they didn't test me before. Anyone got Lyme disease on here and can help please. Thank you.

I have been bitten by ticks many times and, so far, have not contracted Lyme disease.

I have had a lump like you mention on my bum once following a bite and it probably did take a couple of years to go away.

That seems an awfully long time to still have a bump from a tick! I pulled one off in 2017 (leg) and the mark was gone within a month. I would certainly see another doctor.
