And can anyone please help me with mine 😂

I am 35 weeks today with my 2nd boy and I have the urge to eat chalk!! Crunchy chalk! I've tried to crunch on other things-- like ice, nuts, apples, but nope, always comes back to wanting chalk... what can I do and please help me before I order chalk and eat it--

I also get the urge to smell cleaning products what is wrong with me 🙂

I had HG until 18 weeks, and had a complete aversion to food in both pg. After 18 weeks, I did eat, but not often very enthusiastically. When I did it was mini cheddars and tuna/prawn/crayfish sandwiches. I also drank gallons of grapefruit juice and fizzy water. I could not stomach still water.

Salt - anything salty!! At the moment salt & vinegar kettle chips or salt & vinegar pringles; also sweet and salty popcorn. And I’m going through pickled onions too!!

Hot dogs. I sent my husband out to buy a tin of Plumrose sausages, while I got a load of fried onions ready, bliss.

Olives, feta salad, orangina (but not third time round where they'd changed to sweeteners), caramel, chocolate, ice cold water, beer (non alcoholic would sate me, but only the first very cold part). Think I craved broccoli third time too. Ooh and McDonald burgers but I'm veggie and somehow managed to resist!

Dc1 pomegranates and shandy bass

Dc2 firefighters (them white chalky things) my mum had an open fire and I had to open the boxes and sniff them but was so desperate to eat one 🙈 so I once pressed my tongue to one 😬

Dc3 strawberry laces and cream eggs.

Dc4 cherries! punnets and punnets of cherries, would send dh to Tesco at 4 in the morning to go get me some.

Dc5 fried onions in a bap with burger sauce. I'd be making that at 7am for breakfast and last think before I went to bed. My house stunk! Also cheese with grapes on a cocktail stick..had to be on the stick 🙈

Last pregnancy it was chocolate cake, with layers. I would dream about the layers.

This one the biggest craving I have had is for pastry with beef and gravy, like a steak bake. A cornish pasty might do at a push or a beef pie.

Mint chocolate chip ice cream.

And eggs, which I usually like, made me heave. Oddly enough DC (5) loathes them and always has.

Anything spicy with my eldest. Spicier the better! Jesus, I was hooked. Lemons with my second child - couldn’t get enough! Heartburn radiated me. And never really craved with my third child, I just kind of went through phases of really liking something (changed a lot) but never had true cravings with him

Petit filous. Never liked them before, cannot eat them now, but when pregnant with DD I ate them as if they were going out of fashion. And sushi. Craved sushi. No cravings at all with DS.

@OnlineAlienator I loved coffee before DC1 and couldn't stand it throughout pregnancy. This time round I can't get enough - but has to be decaf as caffeinated gives me awful stomach ache 😖

Bless my OH... texting him whilst he was in work about my serious craving. He told me not to order any chalk while laughing at me and came back with a McDonald's 🤤 and quite a few boxes of these!

@Valdy the chalk was lovely but it had to be crayola non toxic. I had some after they were born and it was vile. Really yuck.

Very bizarre.

Try gaviscone tablets, they are like chalk and they will help with the heartburn 😂.

Mine was KFC with my first, and steak and ice cubes but my iron was low.
Second I just craved smells, sniffing a hot sponge in the shower, or the washing fresh out of the washing machine, I don't have a tumble drier but went on holiday were they had them and that was even better than clothed out of the washing machine. I washed and dried everything while on that holiday just to sniff the washing Blush, spent a fortune as they were going operated machines!
