Hand hold anyone?

I'm in a&e waiting for urgent surgery for Appendicitis. My 2 year old baby girl is at home and I'm so teary. Plus it really really hurts!!

I remember when I had appendicitis abroad and ended up at A&E in the middle of the night needing urgent surgery and trying to speak French. I was scared but the doctors seemed to find it so remarkably routine that it put me at ease. I also remember waking up afterwards and feeling like I'd had an amazing sleep! Just let everyone take care of you. You will be absolutely fine.
