Lump

Hi. I posting for traffic..

I have a mammogram and biopsy next week.

The lump is an irregular shape on my breast. How worried should I be? 😔

It is a very worrying time but until you have had the tests it is difficult to say as there are many things that it could be.

I found a huge lump (3½x 2 cm) and had a mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy. It turned out to be an encapsulated, necrotic cyst - basically a bruise that had turned into a cyst and the centre turned to liquid. They drained 70ml from it and decided it did not need further treatment. It is still there like a deflated balloon but has caused no further problems. I have been to regular mammograms since then and these have been clear.
