To move on? And how to

Hi

So me and my ex still live together, as parents to our dd but as nothing else. It was my choice to break up after 12 years and there is no going back, he understands this and knows it's over.

Recently there has been another man come on the scene, and things are progressing. He wants me to go over to his, and I want to, but it's been 12 years since being with another man. Everything of mine is bigger, squishier and bits point a bit further down than they used to

How do people move on after such a long relationship? How do I get past not wanting my body to be on show to anyone else, worried that he will throw up when he sees me. I cant believe anyone else would be interested let alone want to spend the night with me, and I don't know how to handle it.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Confidence is sexy... go for it and try not to worry

Unless every time you've met him you've been in an iron lung, this guy has a fair idea of what your body looks like and is very much interested and wants to spend the night with you. I'm sure he also has some bits not quite the same as when he was 18 too. Maybe treating yourself to something that makes you feel sexy - whether that's underwear, a new hairstyle, new shoes or whatever? But I'm certain at the end of the day he will be absolutely stoked.

I don't have much confidence in me and my looks, I've lost all my identity in my last relationship and when I became mummy to my dd.
