I need to get on the Facebook group for work but Facebook seems not to be working... Anyone else finding this?

All Facebook affiliated apps are affected. It’s been going on for hours. Latest update on Twitter from them was 3hrs ago.

Am I the only one who thinks it is a little odd to 'need' to be on FB for work?

not really

I'd rather use a Fb group than whatsapp. It's clearer, you can see posts separately and ignore the comments instead of having to read through countless posts.

I would never advise it as it's against the "rules" but you could open a work FB account and protect your privacy.

Or you have a small business and lots of clients contact you via FB for orders!

To be honest, I'm not that keen on Facebook but it works extremely well for what it's used for. Just a shame I can't get on to check what I need at the moment!

Am I the only one who thinks it is a little odd to 'need' to be on FB for work?

Part of my job includes moderating a FB group, posting on our FB page and monitoring other social media. Given that practically every workplace these days has a social media presence, it's completely normal for there to be people who need to be on there for work.

If the whole site is down, of course, you don't need to be on there because no one else is on either.
