I don't mind the repetition. I don't mind what her pics stand for. I laugh at a lot of them.
It's just that she's not actually that different to the models she's mocking. She's taller than average. She has broad shoulders. She's pretty. She's in proportion and has long legs and slim calves and ankles. She's just 20 years older than a typical model. That's all.
Maybe that's why her posts work, because she's simultaneously like but different to the pictures she recreates.

I think she looks like a pretty normal person. That’s why I like her. YABU.

She's not ugly by any means, but I don't think she pretends to be. The joke isnt meant to be that she's ugly, she's mocking the poses/styling. I find her really funny and still would if she did look like a supermodel. It's the actions and the styling that are funny.

The joke isn’t that she’s ugly (she isn’t, but even if she were that still wouldn’t be the point). The joke is that what the celebs/influencers/models are doing is ridiculous.

I love her. It seems weird that you would like her more if she was less attractive. I think she looks like an average slightly chubby out of shape person. How she looks though never really seems to be the point of her jokes. To that end though yes I think there is an enormous difference between her and a super model.

Those pics above are lovely but still like an average person with hair and make up done. And there is nothing wrong with that.

I'm in the finding her irritating camp

Agree Stargazer, even in those pictures she just looks like a normal person with good make up on. I find her photos funny because it just shows how silly those poses would look in real life, done by a normal person. I honestly don’t even know how tall she is, is she tall?

I could understand finding her irritating because it is mostly the same joke - “high end modelling is frequently ridiculous” - over and over again. A lot of people have copied her too. Her stuff is always very well chosen and high effort, mind.

I really like her, but I understand how someone could be bored of it by now.

But I don’t understand being irritated by her on a looks basis. Either because she’s too pretty or too plain?! Neither makes sense to me at all!

She has a tremendously good body. Look at those legs, shoulders and proportions.
I can’t always laugh with her because I get the sense she’s one of the people she’s supposed to be lampooning.

Do you think she'd be allowed down a catwalk with her body type? Also, with her shots in full make up, she's made the joke herself that she looks different in make up, proper lighting and posing.

She scrubs up damn well- but the point I think is that she’s fairly ordinary/averagely pretty when not scubbed up and she puts herself out there mocking the Uber celebs.

She’s not model thin, she’s not toned and tanned. She’s fairly ordinary and that’s why it works.
