Hi all!

Sorry for posting here but I have no idea what this is and am at my wits end 🤦🏻‍♀️ We have tiny little orange looking spots all over our fridge (inside) I've cleaned it twice and they've just come back?! What on Earth are they???

Going to bleach it again this afternoon 😩
I'll try and take a pic but they are very small so hard to see. Definitely don't move in case anyone thinks they are little bugs :-)

Some kind of mould? Or Google says it might be rust!?

Spicylolly · 10/03/2019 12:10

Are they rust spots maybe?

pigsDOfly · 10/03/2019 12:10

Could they be rust spots.

Switch it off, empty it, wash it out with vinegar and allow to air well before refillinf and switching back on.

Vinegar is very useful for all sorts. Bicarb can be used first to really scrub everything. Bleach just bleaches moulds, it doesn’t kill it.

Looks like rust coming through from the door

ATBhinchers · 10/03/2019 12:20

How old is the fridge

poorsausage · 10/03/2019 12:24

A year old 😞 I've checked the door and no signs of rust :-/ and it's on the roof etc of the fridge so don't know how it would get there? I'll try vinegar this afternoon :-)

Is it under warranty?

poorsausage · 10/03/2019 13:18

Yes 🙂 will that matter though if it's mould/rust?

Worth a go isn't it? Say you've cleaned it as the book tells you and looked after it but it appears to be going rusty.
