Is she too young?

What’s the youngest you’ve ever taken yours to public swimming baths?

I would make sure it is a warm pool and don't expect to stay long as they get cold quickly.

I think DD was about 7-8 weeks, and she lasted about 40mins in a very warm pool.

Has she had injections yet? I think normal advice is not till after them at least. And that young they lose their body temp VERY fast so I'd expect to be in for not much more than 10 mins even in a warm pool.

They dont need injections to go to the pool

Advice is it’s fine when the tummy button has healed. It’s a pain the arse taking a baby swimming but if you want to do it there is no reason why not.

DD2 at 5 weeks. She didn’t love it tbh but it did no harm. Saw a baby at 5 days old in a baby swimming lesson once.
