To think Brexit isn’t going to happen on the 29th March so I should book the flights..,

Found some really cheap flights to Europe. Could take a family of 4 for a long weekend flights and accom for 3 nts £350 all in.

Should I book? Aibu to think we aren’t going to crash out- it’s likely there will be an extension? Even the EU are saying there isn’t enough time even if May’s deal gets agreed- which is unlikely.

Or AiB deluded?

I had the same attitude when booking my holiday yesterday 😂

Mangetoutrodney · 04/03/2019 20:41

Hahaha!! Brilliant! Well hopefully my crossed fingers and toes will save us from chaos 😂

I just can’t see how we will leave in 3ish weeks time though- as mad as I think Theresa May is- I honestly don’t think she’s so mad to let us crash out?!

We’re flying on 3rd April. I figure at worst it will be long queues at the airport

HarrysOwl · 04/03/2019 20:48

Do it! There have already been articles to say flights will go ahead even in a no deal scenario.

Mangetoutrodney · 04/03/2019 20:49

We’d fly back on the 30th- is it too mad? I genuinely don’t know

I do think it'll probably be ok, though I would say that I've thought several times now that May's decisions couldn't get any madder, and sadly I've been wrong each time. Confused

Takethebuscuitandthesink · 04/03/2019 20:51

Well be it on your own head. But I doubt planes will be grounded.

FoxSquadKitten · 04/03/2019 20:52

Never gonna happen, do it

We’re traveling to the EU with EasyJet on the 6th - this is the latest from them. Personally I’d book it ✈️ www.easyjet.com/en/help/boarding-and-flying/brexit

We've booked for the 24th returning on the 4th. If it all goes tits up I'll sit tight on my sun lounger
