I’m sure there must be somewhere that does it and if there is I must have the name!

I too would like to try a small sample of stuff before spending pounds on something that'll bring me out in hives. You used to get samples in those expensive fashion magazines, but that is still a bit too random.

Thanks for replies, I'm guessing that amongst friends and workmates
etc, there could be a "swap shop day" of products that don't work for some but might work for others option here?

eBay is a great place for sample sizes, sachets and unwanted GWPs.

Feel unique do samples, as do( I think) Cult Beauty and look fantastic.

Alittlefind.com has a good selection of travel sizes from brands like REN

For things like foundation, most places will give you a sample. If not, get a few little screw top pots and pop a few squirts in from the display bottles. I usually ask if this is ok before I do it in higher end shops and often this leads to a little chat and more samples!
