Didn't you ask him WHEN you'd dated? I would have! It was probably a one-off date that didn't work out.

Hi all. I don't recall him from school and neither no my friends.from the description I have them. No information on my social media. Didn't attend any camps. Had no boyfriends in school. I didn't think to ask where or when we woupd have dated as i was completely weirded out, is that even a word. You've reminded me of a guy who was the son of an aunt's friend. He came to a London suburb to work, coincidentally near where my family lived. My aunt asked me to look after him, introduce him to people and help him make some friends. All normal. I did as she asked. He was OK, but a bit 'square', not my type at all, I had a boyfriend anyway.

He told everyone I was his girlfriend. His flatmates, his workmates, his parents etc etc. In vain did I deny it.

After a month or so I figured he was settled enough and quietly dropped him. I wouldn't be surprised if he thought we had actually dated. TBH, I had completely forgotten him until I read your op. If he had run up to me in the street I wouldn't have remembered him. (I think he was called Paul, too! Maybe they're all called Paul!)

Maybe your Paul Person was someonewho went to a few places at the same timw that you did with the same bunch of friends and has rewritten that as 'dating'? You and your friends have forgotten him because he was never really on your radar.

Was once walking to a party and this guy came up to me and started talking to me like he knew me and I had no recollection of him at all but my brain can work like that so I just kinda chatted along thinking it'll come back to me but he knew stuff about me I'd be shocked at some close friends knowing, knew what I did for a living, where I worked (something I kept totally separate from every other part of my life) partners name, places I went out, loads of people I know but still draw a total blank with this guy

Also some girl came up to me once at the station near my home and was SO FUCKING EXCITED to see me and I had no idea who she was and it still bugs me to this day because when I remember seeing her at the station the memory of her smiling so nearly triggers the memory of who she is.
