So I now live in a naice house in a lovely area, married with 2DC. Anyone looking in would see a very middle class 2.4 household. However I grew up in a single family council house home. I'm not to fussed about TV but there is something about the big narstie show that makes me feel nostalgic for my teenage years and I feel that they do address some issues in a way that other programmes dont. I do eye roll a lot but i just cant seem to turn over. Does anyone else understand or have similar feelings about certain programmes or anything else?

I’ve never watched the show. I can’t stand him and name makes me shudder. narstie! Urgh.

YABU to say you live in a naice house. BOAK! In a very middle class area. VOM!

And the big narstie show is SHIT. Hmm

I doubt big Narstie lives on an estate

But it’s nostalgia really. Doesn’t matter where you grew up, if your life wasn’t utterly miserable then of course you would have some nostalgic view of it.

I think everyone has some programs that make them feel that way.

You will get flamed for simply saying you have anything on here.
Unless you are living on £2 a week to pay all your bills, you will likely be accused of a stealth boast.

Never watched the show but many things can provoke nostalgia.
I’m sure life was as good and bad for you in different ways as it is now. Enjoy your trip down memory lane and stay happy my friend. Smile

ILoveMaxiBondi the name makes me shudder also which I suppose is what started to make me question it.

HoppityFrog3 I only say naice as that seems to be an shared description on mumsnet

Meandwinealone thanks

TheOxymoron Thanks. There were many weeks when we lived on £2 a week. Thankfully now that doesn't happen, I know I have a good life compared to many now but often feel in a strange place as I don't quite fit.
