Should I continue to complain? DPD driver is still being rude but agree to do his work

my local DPD driver is always the same guy and his work logic/ethic is bad and he is rude.

we had fight about he refuse to carry my parcel to my flat for me. he said " you can do it yourself" I said " no, it's heavy." he said "so?" then I call DPD customer service to complain about him being rude and try not to finish his work.

the second time he deliver my parcel, he made a joke of the light weigh parcel is heavy. and the third time he leave my heavy parcel RIGHT outside my flat and refuse to bring it in for me. So, I contact a DPD high level manager to complaint again.

today when the DPD driver come over. he said you don't have to complaint about me to my company you can just said " can you please help me" and he told some lie to find excuse of him not able to carry my parcel upstair to my flat for me. he said once he step in my flat, he breaks the company rule. BUT he agree to leave my parcel in the flat without step in my flat.

I am not sure if I should continue to complain about him.I am sure I have to deal with DPD driver a lot in future. because some online shop I always go to don't give me option to choose other company. I am really tired of this guy. he's rude and his work logic is bad. dealing with him in future really makes me uncomfortable. I don't know if he will make any other mess in future.
BUT he agree to deliver my parcel in my flat in future. If I still complain about him and his company doesn't change this guy. then, I am afraid I have to deal with an angry DPD driver in future. I really don't know how to handle this situation.

Ffs everyone I think you are being very harsh on the OP. Do you not realise she is a layyyyddee and expecting her to lift and carry is totes unreasonable I mean she needs a man with muscles and bo to do all the difficult bits in life. Unless of course he shits in her toilet and then it's game over

lalafafa and mumofaprinny, are you fucking serious?

Bloody hell OP DPD drivers are brilliant; you know exactly when they’re coming and ours are always lovely blokes. I’m disabled and they always offer to put heavy parcels in the hall instead of just handing them to me.

If your flat’s entry system is broken then get onto the landlord to sort it; don’t complain about the poor driver!

No wonder he seems bad tempered, he must dread delivering to you.

As far as I'm aware, they deliver to the front door, including the main front door for flats - never had a delivery driver come in unless it's furniture (and you pay extra for that service)

What have I just read? You spend enough time on here and you think you've heard it all,

Then thr op comes along telling us how she couldn't possibly carry her own parcels and you think. Nope, there is always another one.

Are the parcels exceptionally heavy? If so i would have asked really nicely if he minded bringing it up as a favour as I don't think he's obliged to deliver further than to the entrance of your building.

I emailed DPD once to compliment them on my usual driver because he'd offered to carry my heavyish parcels (bird seed) round to the garage for me without being asked. I was expecting to drag them through the house. He got an award and they emailed me the photo Grin
And I always pick companies that use DPD if I can because I like tracking my parcels.

My general experience is that if you are nice to people then they are usually nice and helpful in return. If you order people about they will be as unhelpful as possible. Life will be much easier if you build bridges with this delivery man.

Our DPD man is a delight and always lifts parcels over the doorstop for me. The grumpy chainsmoking Hermes cunt, on the other hand…
