To not want to send the kids to OH's parents?

We were planning on going for a spa break my mum has offered and OH's mum loves having the kids they normally stay at his parents.

His dad has really bad depression he barely talks to me anymore he just sits upstairs when people come over and obviously I don't want him to feel uncomfortable. I don't want to punish OH's mum because she isn't seeing the kids as much now. I just want to do the right thing. What to do?

Could OH mum come and stay at yours with the children?

I did just think that will have to ask I just think she would worry about leaving him alone.
