To keep baby at home because of conjunctivitis

Looks like DD has conjunctivitis- most likely bacterial. What is usual practice for childminders? Should I keep her at home until it's cleared up?

Guidelines are that there's no need to exclude children or babies with conjunctivitis now.

The childminder should accept her.

Go to doctors and get drops - your child minder May have a policy that they can take her but only if she has the drops. That’s my nurseries rule.

Ask the childminder because it will be her decision

Sorry I should have said obviously double check if your CM has such a policy first, I know sometimes it’s better to treat the eyes with salt water for example.

I would check their policy. I had to stay off work for a week with nasty bilateral bacterial conjunctivis because I work with babies and children.
