Do you get teachers a thank you card/bottle of something as a thanks after a school holiday residential? I was planning to but DD says no as they all put money together to buy the teachers something.

I didn’t last year. It didn’t even occur to me to be honest....although ds1s was in term time.

I sent a large tub of biscuits into school as a thank you for the teachers who took the kids on a trip to Belgium, involving two very long coach journeys to and from Glasgow.

DD says no as they all put money together to buy the teachers something.
In that case no I wouldn't.

I go with no then, that's some money saved :-)
