What do adults without children do on weekends

I seem to have forgotten.

Other than shopping. Everything feels child orientated. Or I've just forgotten how to be an adult over the last 18 years.

I would love to have a weekend where I can spend the whole time reading, I can easily read a book cover to cover in half a day if it's a good one. I get interrupted too much for that to happen now. Smile

I think its being alone that's hard. I did park run, walked the dog, and met some old uni friends for lunch. That seems to have broken the day up nicely.

I expect its more the days alone than finding things to do.

My SIL & BIL seem to spend their weekends in lovely gastro pubs, going on bike rides, training for 10k's, interspersed with weekends in various Italian cities. They have a beautiful home too (that I'm scared to let my two year old loose in). Sometimes I envy them. However I know they are also two + years into trying for a baby and that must be heartbreaking so...
