Just tried to drive our brand new car for the first time.
It's a manual. I have driven automatics for 12 years.
Tried several times to release the clutch to drive off but kept hearing this awful scraping sound. Totally freaked me out. I couldn't figure out what it was.
DH then comes out and informs me that I have the handbrake on
. Mortified I've damaged the car now.
I really feel like I'm going insane sometimes. I forget the names of things/people, they are are just on the tip of my tongue but I just can't bring it out. I forget what I'm doing, meant to be doing. I get so furious at myself!
Is this what I have to look forward for the next x years of the menopause then?
