Half term in the area where my hospital is.
All the usual doctors are off for half term, so I'm seeing someone I've never seen before (I know the other doctors well), so have to reiterate my medical history (which is more detailed than on my notes). I also wanted to discuss a new drug possibility that was suggested before, but am doubting if this will happen this time.
Also, possibly because of this, I've now been waiting over an hour for my appointment (they've acknowledged a delay because of long appointments).
I fully appreciate hospital staff need time off - everyone does - but next time I'm going to book in term time to try to see the usual team.
