Most annoying ads

Going on from another post about an annoying ad, what do you find the most annoying? I cringe at the German shampoo for women Plantur 39. The bit where she whispers conspiratorially 'especially for women over 40' as if being over 40 is something to be shamed about. Hate hate hate it. Also the Wowcher ads. Also didn't like the one about guide dogs with the guy who said 'puup-eh' instead of puppy. I know he's blind and all but it really was annoying.

The oral b ad.

“ I didn’t even know oral b made toothpaste”

Really?

Almost any advert for sanitary products.
Am I comfortable on my period? Yes.
Do I go cycling in little white booty shorts? No. Maybe I'm more risk averse than I previously thought.

I do wonder how advertising agencies get sign off on some ads. I mean, how did they possibly get a company to think Arnold Schwarzenegger's head on wheels was slim any way a clever idea. It's just weird.

Also the advert with the woman on the bus who freezes her card when she’s lost it in her weird pocket “You shall buy a round at the reunion!” So irritating!

It's not on anymore but the Werther's one where the woman reminisces fondly about going to the Caramel Shop with her grandfather.

Anything for low fat yoghurt. They’re all the same - some dewy-eyed woman eats a spoonful with an expression of ecstasy in her face and gasps in amazement - ‘Low fat?! But it’s SO creamy!’ And they always say creamy like they’re choking down puke.

I also hate the Quick Quid one where they press the pause button and then airily say ‘Yeah, order the new boiler/fridge/car - I’ve got it covered’. Except you haven’t, have you? You’ve got yourself tied into a loan with a crippling rate of interest that’s probably going to leave you even more penniless next month.

The one I absolutely and utterly hate is the current Renault one with the 'virtual ambassador' who has a dumb, vacant expression. I hate it so so much I can't even

I was considering starting a thread on my hatred of this ad, so thank you Op for giving me this space to vent.
Does anyone else hate it? Can anyone explain why I/they hate it? My visceral hatred of it scares me.

I hate the dreams adverts on the radio. Every word completely over pronounced. Fake plummy accent. Yuk. Didn't notice until dh pointed it out and can't unhear it now

The 'bothersome vagina' ad

Every single Tesco ad since the ones with Prunella Scales and the woman with the thin, almost bald blonde hair. I don't recall any before those but that is when I first started to loathe them, and they just got worse with that hideous couple doing their shopping and now that ghastly throwback ad.

The 'Right Said Fred' ad is bad. I thought it was the worst, until I heard the Senakot ad on Classic FM - Oh. My. God. Awful text, badly sung by cliche bad singers, makes me want to court constipation for the rest of my life.

I've got a real hatred for perfume and aftershave ads... like the one where Jonny depp digs in the dessert and literally talks nonsense about being a man and freedom and some shite. What TAF has that got to do with perfume?! Gives me rage every time.

All ads with Nicole ShitSinger and her fucking yogurts

The Diet Coke stupid ‘I like what I like’ guy... yeah all that aspartame has made you super annoying!

The coffee one where all the people are standing up and the guy says, “Sit down if you’ve never seen me cry” or whatever... so annoyingly fake and such shit cheap coffee too!

Unfortunately for me, I rely on my tablet to entertain me sometimes in my bedbound life. If I'm binge watching something on ITV/C4, I can literally see her annoying face 10 times a day!

Have started turning tablet over when I sense stoopid adverts approaching.

I'm with @pointythings on that bloody senakot advert. It's like the CEO's wife wrote it and nobody had the balls to say it was terrible.

What's the one where a gym bunny is running on a running machine, falls off and lands on the floor trying to look all slick In front of a woman? Hate that one.
