Down stairs next door neighbour smokes weed.

The strong shit. Smokes it very often and makes him extremely paranoid.

Problems are when this massive house was converted into two flats it wasn't done properly so when he smokes, it makes my flat absolutely reek and had done since I moved in 6 years ago.

I have a 6 year old daughter (moved in just before she was born) Ive had to leave my own home on multiple occasions because of the stench.

I come home and as soon as i walk through the door and it fucking stinks.

Another thing is, he is a bloody bus driver!

I came home yesterday as he was leaving for work and the smell of it hit me as i opened my door. So obviously smoking it before he's driving public buses!

Id be fucking pissed if I found out the driver of the bus Id just got on had been smoking weed before his shift.

Does the bus company have a policy for random testing? I know some of ours do, as do the train networks.

You could dob him in but it won't solve your problem if he loses his job, he'll be a full time stoner then and you'll never get a break from the smell.

Sadly I think the police have got far bigger fish to fry. It'd be great if it was their only worry, of course

If he smokes it before work then surely they must smell it on him before he arrives ?
I hate the smell and had to put up with the same think when my dd was a baby but we moved a while back thankfully.

Yes I would, police (non emergency number) and environmental health as it's a pollutant in your flat. If you rent I would contact your landlord too

Does he rent or own? If he rents, I would complain to the landlord, framing it as a risk to your child.
A report to the council environmental health about the smell and drug use might help?
If he gets the sack I doubt he'd stop smoking it so it wouldn't really resolve your issue (as satisfying as it would be!) but if he's smoking before work then you could report drug-driving (as you would drink driving).

You should tell his employer, it’s disgusting that he has the safety of hundreds of people in his hands and smokes dope. The police won’t do anything unfortunately unless he is dealing from the property.
We have the smell problem from a lad who insists on smoking almost next to my lounge window, it stinks disgusting and it actually gives me a headache. We have asked him to go somewhere else to smoke which he does for about 24 hours but then always returns to his usual place.

My landlord knows but because he's lived there forever they wont do anything about it.

But I'm absolutely sick of the smell.

Ill report it as drug driving tho as he drives high to work before getting on the bus.

Usually he does it on his days off, whatever but doing it before work? 🤬
